This journal is mostly just the ramblings that flow through my head on a daily basis. Some use way too many words, others seem oddly aggressive, and other contradict things I previously wrote. People are messy, I am messy. There is no higher reason for this journal, I'm not trying to sell anything, and I am not trying to convert anyone to my way of thinking. Writing here is simply a personal catharsis.

I have been with Dreamwidth for a few years now. I left Livejournal shortly after the buy-out, tried a few other places with no success, took a break from writing basically anything for awhile, and then resurrected my missives here. All told, I have been on the LJ platform for twenty years now (counting my break). This journal works in two directions. I post about my current life and thoughts, while also slowly reincorporating old posts via back-dating from journals past. I save everything, but not everything stays public forever.

My real friends have long since left this platform for...well...you know the likely places. I am always happy to meet new people who are kind, respectful, and enjoy dialogue.

My username, Avio is simply the letters of my name minus repeats and primary initials. It happens to be the Italian word for airplane, which I thought was cool. It is also a slang word for people who desire sexual relations with aliens, this is totally hilarious to me, and sealed the deal when I was making a new username.
